The free version does not allow you to embed the chatroom in an iframe on the google site, but they have a premium membership that eliminates ads, gives you more features, and does let you embed it in the google site. It's easy to set up a free chat room there, and you just give out the url to your players and they can easily join right in. It's amazing! I am trying to find a good chat to embed into it right now for a play-by-chat game I'm running. The only think I can think of is that it might be some cache or cookie issue with your browser. That's where the nav bar gets its information on what to display. Once you change the header on each page to the character's name, it should then show up that way in the nav bar indefinitely. I wanted to keep it to elements that I thought everyone would use and could then customize from there.Ģ.The Library page is for exactly the purpose of uploading things like maps and handouts.ģ.I'm not sure how that's happening, and I haven't been able to replicate the issue. As you keep playing with it, you'll see how easy it is to add new pages, and the final idea was that anyone who wanted that could add it relatively easily. I will let you know if I think of anything elseġ.I actually went back and forth on whether to include a house rules section or not. not sure why, but it would be nice to have the character's names on the nave bar instead of player 1, 2 3 ect. I've been using Google Site Builder for some time now, mainly to make sites for my various play-by-post and home campaigns.
